I am a practicing Eating Psychology Coach based in Boston, Massachusetts. I help women and men uncover personal life issues that are connected to their eating challenges. Personal life issues tend to revolve around work, money, relationships, family, intimacy, life stress, and so much more. Basically, I focus on “how” and “why” we eat instead of “what” we eat. It’s an underrated yet important concept that I feel so strongly about because I’ve experienced it myself (read my story).
I offer a safe and welcoming space for you to openly express yourself without judgement. During our sessions you have my full attention. The work we do is individualized based on your needs and what is most relevant to you at that moment so success is more easily achieved. For example, if I recommend meditation as a strategy for stress management and you don’t want to do it, that’s completely okay. I’ll suggest something else. I may ask you to reconsider trying it if nothing else works. That’s what a coach does. 😉 We acknowledge all the wins, big and small. You remembered to drink an extra glass of water? That’s a win. You were able to get out of work on time? Heck yes! You remembered to breathe? Woo hoo! Sometimes we forget that the smallest or simplest things we do are just as important. What you’ll get out of this experience is embodiment through awareness and exploration, empowerment to make important health decisions that’s right for you, and a personal cheerleader because I will always be rooting for you.
My specialty is dermatitis (eczema) but I also work with overeating, binge eating, and a variety of nutrition related health concerns such as digestion, fatigue, mood, immunity, and others. I also have experience in specialty diets such as the Whole30® Program, Paleo, and Autoimmune Protocol (AIP).
